Yvonne Zünd, JJJC Weinfelden, wird als Nachwuchs-Trainerin des Jahres 2021 im Kanton Thurgau ausgezeichnet.

Anlässlich der 28. DV der Vereinigung Thurgauer Sportverbände (VTS) wurde unteranderem Yvonne Zünd als TKB-Nachwuchstrainerin 2021 neben Frankiska Bartelt (Kanu) und Jonas Halapi (Wasserball) ausgezeichnet.

Nach Beendigung der eigenen Karriere als Wettkämpferin trainiert Zünd seit Jahren die Kategorien U 9 – 15 sowohl im Breiten- als auch Leistungssport. Als weitere Verdienste wurde ihr Engagement zum Wohle des Clubs und dem Sport berücksichtigt.

Bisher erhielt mit Hans Nessensohn, ebenfalls JJJC Weinfelden, nur ein Trainer im Jahre 2004 in der Sparte Judo diese Auszeichnung für ausserordentliche Leistungen.
