JC Nippon St.Gallen gewinnt vor JC Uster und BSC Arashi Yama Wil

In den Vorrunden haben sich der JC Nippon St.Gallen, der BSC Arashi Yama Wil, der JC Uster und der JC Wetzikon/Sihltal für das Finalturnier der Ostschweizer Mannschaftsmeisterschaft in der Schülerkategorie qualifiziert. Im ersten Halbfinal des Tages bezwangen die Schüler vom JC Nippon St.Gallen das Team vom BSC Arashi Yama Wil mit 10:4 Siegpunkten und 50:30 Wertungspunkten. Noch deutlicher gewann der JC Uster gegen den JC Wetzkon/Sihltal, nämlich mit 12:4 (60:17).

Die Finalbegegnung zwischen dem JC Nippon St.Gallen und dem JC Uster wurde wider Erwarten zu einer einseitigen Angelegenheit – nach 6 Kämpfen führten die St.Galler bereits uneinholbar mit 12:0 Siegpunkten. Erst die letzten beiden Kämpfe konnte der JC Uster für sich entscheiden. Im Kampf um Rang 3 entschieden schlussendlich 3 Wertungspunkte zugunsten des BSC Arashi Yama Wil. Die Wiler gewannen gegen den JC Wetzikon/Sihltal mit 8:8 (40:37).
